Must Listen: Rob Drabkin

There is a voice in Denver that needs to be heard, and that voice belongs to singer/songwriter Rob Drabkin. The stellar combination of his voice, guitar playing and lyrics make his concerts a must see. The path of music that he walked on is a story of complete madness. He began playing electric guitar at age 11, rocking out to the likes of Metallica and Guns N' Roses, found jazz when he enrolled in the jazz ensemble, and then found the acoustic guitar, thanks to Ted Reece, which helped strengthen his playing and develop his ear.

This would mean a continued concentration on music, correct? Nope, not for Rob. He kept playing, as a hobby, but went to Trinity College and graduated Phi Beta Kappa in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology and Spanish.
